| Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5.30pm |  I have always been a little wary of specialist tranny vendors since visiting Transformation which I found a little off-putting (see review elsewhere), but for a change I was pleasantly surprised. The shop is not just for trannies, but used by local real girls too. It stocks a wide range of clothes, mostly, it is fair to say, of a slightly 'older' style by which I mean more for your middle-aged woman than your party girl, but there are some nice dresses, tops and some uniforms that are good for younger girls too. Many of the styles are specially chosen to suit the frame of the typical tranny and as such are often quite stretchy to cling nicely to our rather unusual figures. They also stock other stuff you might need like make-up, corsetry and underwear, hosiery and breastforms. I found the staff to be most helpful and spent about a half an hour chatting with them over a cuppa. They are certainly knowledgeable and willingly offer helpful advice. The other thing that surprised me was the prices. Everything in the shop seemed to be very reasonably priced. Apparently because of the amount of sales that they have, they can bulk purchase items and get quite a discount and the prices are certainly keen, in many cases being less than you could purchase the same item directly from the manufacturer. If you are nervous about going shopping for your girly self, then maybe Doreens would be a good first stop as, unlike certain other tranny outlets, it is not in any way seedy and I'm sure you would feel more comfortable here than you would buying undies in M&S, which isn't exactly tortuous.
